Annika Lückebergfeld has studied mandolin with Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg, Prof. Marga Wilden-Hüsgen and Gertrud Tröster at the College of Music Cologne (Department Wuppertal/Germany) and completed her instrumental teaching diploma and her artistic performance diploma with honours.

She received a full-scholarship at the Berklee College of Music in Boston/USA, where she studied music performance with eg. John McGann, Mimi Rabson and Fernando Brandao. Annika Lueckebergfeld is a prize winner of numerous national and international music competitions, eg: 1st prize at the Albin Dotzauer competition for mandolin Solo (1998), 1st prize at the „Jugend Musiziert“ (Young Musician of the Year) in 2000, 2nd prize at the International Yasuo Kuwahara competition for solo mandolin in 2005.

In addition, she is a leader and soloist of the „Jugendzupforchestra North Rhine-Westphalia“ (a representative orchestra of young high talented mandolinists and guitarists from NRW/Germany) as well as she teaches and conducts at national and international master classes and festivals.

She performs as a mandolin-soloist and as a member of several chamber-ensembles or orchestras all over Europe, Japan, Russia and the USA, in chamber concerts and festivals, in radio and television recordings and broadcasts.

Annika Lückebergfeld appeared on several CDs, eg: Quartetto Colori - „impressioni“. Her first Solo-CD "Aproximação“ has been released in August 2007 (Trekel-Records, Hamburg / Germany, TR0705)
