Mando things in East Anglia

Postby Daniel » Tue Dec 30, 2014 9:59 pm

Hi folks,
I'm rather active with the mandolin stuff in East Anglia. (And I'm working on expanding beyond it, but that's not the point.) I run a monthly mandolin workshop in Cambridge on the first Saturday of every month from 10am to 11am with a Bluegrass Jam tutorial afterward (11-12). The Jam tutorial seems to roll out as an extension of the lesson as we only rarely get non-mandolin players to attend. So it's a really nice two hour mando session.
I'm developing a section of my web site to provide support documents and audio files for the lessons. It's a password protected page to provide the regular attendees with a some added value for the cost of the lessons.
In December we started working on Eric Skye's wonderful "The Locktenders's Reel"

If you're in the area and interested, give me a shout.
