Anyone in Warwickshire?

Postby Daniel » Wed May 25, 2016 12:56 pm

I'm playing the Knitted Characters folk festival at the Blue Boar in Temple Grafton on 4 June and the Stratford River Festival on 2 July. The Knitted Characters is £20 I think and includes the Gerry Colvin Band and FleetwoodCave, couple of fairly heavy hitters. There's a session that will run late as well. Last year it included a few of the gigging musicians, was well attended, and loads of fun.

Stratford River Festival is free, I believe. My guitarist and I will be playing the pavilion. I'm betting he'll be wearing a kilt.

It would be nice to meet some of my fellow mandolinists if you're about. Happy to share mandolin enthusiasm and make your acquaintance!

Too far away for me Daniel, I'm in West Yorkshire.

Dave,
September I'm on tour with Gerry Colvin and Kim Ralls. I'll be in North Yorkshire at the Folk Club in Darlington on 1 Sept and Leyburn (The Old School House) on 3 Sept. That's a bit of a distance from West Yorkshire too, I know, but not quite so far. ;)
