Greetings

Postby Wiglaf » Wed Dec 28, 2016 6:36 pm

Having not really played for a few years, and never been what I'd call a particularly competent player, I've recently started to try to get back into the mandolin. Playing about a bit it seems to come back fairly readily, and having found this site I thought I'd say hello.

I'm also learning to play the melodeon, and find with that playing with others is a massive help, so wondered if there's anyone on here from/near to Bedford who knows of any local(ish) get-togethers for "beginner"/basic players? I can see in recent postings there're several players in Cambridge, presumably of the better variety, and the Self Help Group in London sounds like it's probably worth a visit and not too hard for me to reach.

Best wishes, and season's greetings :-)
