Choro mandolin in EU

Postby Pe1er » Wed Mar 15, 2017 10:56 am

Hello forum of knowledge!
Is there anywhere in EU that I can get a hold of a mandolin that looks and sounds like the ones in Brazil?
And is it common practise to refer to these kind of mandolins as "bandolims" instead of Brazilian mandolin?
Have a great day

The only place I can think of would be TAMCO in Brighton, run by Trevor Moyle it's the largest and best mandolin shop in the UK.

I don't think Trevor stocks anything like that. A better bet would probably be Hobgoblin (various shops throughout the UK).

Fylde Touchstone is a nice option there if you're prepared to spend £795
