There is an instrument builder and repairer called Eric Beharrell in East Yorkshire but I'm unable to find his contact details at the moment.

thanks - i have put this in the wrong forum
i have just checked back on the builders forum and noticed you got some work done at hobgoblin in leeds - i think my mandolin requires some minor fret work (the 16th fret appears to be higher than the 15th on the E string) - how long did you have to wait?
best wishes, simon

As best as I can remember it took a good six weeks, but then Russ Flemming still worked in the shop, since he retired I don't know who does the repair work.

Tom Buchanan now has his workshop in Cleckheaton and he is a member here.
