Tommy Jackson

Anyone remember Tommy Jackson, half-moroccan, wig and kaftan wearing electric mandolin player and teacher? Ex member of Troise and his mandoliers and contemporary of Hugo D'Alton.
He taught me in the 1970's and lived in Hastings in the 1980s. I know Ian Harris (of the Fretful Federation - Brighton based mando orchestra) met him, but understand he died not long after so presumably around 1993/4.
Great character and raconteur, awesome sight reader and always made me smile!
He had the oddest 4 string electric mandolin which I never could identify, I wonder where that ended up?
